Advanced design allows tool to work in tight quarters to remove or adjust out rear hubs with the axle in the chassis. This is a must have tool when rebuilding or building inline HO slot cars.
USER NOTE: this wheel hub puller is designed primarily for better quality in-line motor HO slot cars using quality smooth end or straight splined axles. CHEAP factory axles such as those that Tomy uses on Mega G and Mega G+ have a radial spline design to prevent the hubs from being chewed off by little children. This radial spline makes it near impossible to remove the hubs without damaging the hub and puller. So for these sorts of axles, it is not worth your time to pull off the factory hubs and put on quality aftermarket CNC machine hubs. Just build up a quality rear axle set for replacement or buy ready-made axles for such chassis.
The puller should work OK on old legacy chassis such at Aurora T-Jet, AFX, and Magna-Traction since the axles are straight splined.
